San Antonio Mountain Work

October 14, 2014 Leonor Willis
San Antonio Mountain Work

Brian Williams and John Wheatley were up on San Antonio Mountain and did some great work on the equipment.

From Brian:

John and I installed new batteries on SAM today (in a snowstorm), so the 146.76 and APRS machines now have substantial backup power. The old batteries were removed and will be recycled, unless Mickey wants them back.

We brought the 76 machine down and will get it to Paul Choc on Wed. for service. John remembered the old repeater was still sitting there, so we re-connected it and 76 is back on the air, sans the Santa Fe link for now.
