Picuris Tower Work 8/16/2014

August 18, 2014 Leonor Willis
Picuris Tower Work 8/16/2014

This was my first trip up to the top of Picuris, and it was a great experience.  The views are awesome, and the company was very highbrow. πŸ™‚

We were up there the full day, and with the help of Lew and Brian, I was able to get my long truck up and back down without major mishap.  New antennas for Kit Carson were going up, and a new setup for the Picuris Blue 220 channel (channel 5 in the plan) resulted in strong communications for those of us with the 1.25 meter band.  Here are photos from the trip.
