The Taos Amateur Radio Club (TaosARC) offered credentialed FCC Ham Radio License Testing this past week. Three candidates passed all tests attempted (see above for names). A ham radio operator can receive one of three licenses: Technician, General, and then Extra class.

The new radio operators may use their licenses for supporting individual learning, search and rescue, or just for fun talking to someone on another continent. The new call signs are JJ, KI5HKV and Craig, KI5KU, Dillon is KI5HKT

TaosARC is ready to offer more tests in the future as needs arise. Small and large groups, as well as individuals, are welcome to test with us! Please spread the word.

This news will also appear in the TEMPO.
